- Christina Cimorelli: “NO NO NO NO NO NO. You are not thinking clearly right now. I KNOW it can feel like that at times but trust me your brain is NOT in a healthy place right now. You are not seeing reality as it is. LISTEN TO ME. I want you to sit down with a pen and paper RIGHT NOW and I want you to write 5 things you love about yourself. I want you to write 5 goals for your future and I want you to write out 5 reasons to live. Those reasons are HOPE for the future, LOVE exists, GOD loves you, TOMORROW could always be different and that Christina Cimorelli demands that you stick around!!!!!

I want you to DECIDE that you will change your life. I want you to take your new list of goals seriously and picture yourself as if you had already completed them. I want you to do this EVERY night and EVERY morning, no matter HOW rough your day was and no matter how crappy you feel at that moment. I want you do something for yourself today as SOON as you finish writing down those 3 lists. I want you to exercise, journal, take a relaxing bath with candles that smell amazing, read a good book, call a friend, hang out with a pet, or preferably do ALL of the above and I want you to get used to doing something for yourself EVERY single day.

Lastly, I want you to realize that self-worth is something you were BORN with. You did not earn your self-worth by being better looking than someone else. You did not earn it by being better than someone else at something. You did not earn it by achieving something. You did not earn it by weighing a certain amount. You were BORN with a value so high that one cannot put a price on it. You ARE priceless. As is. You don’t have to DO or BE anything to be of value. You just ARE. I want you to go to a mirror and look at yourself and say I LOVE YOU, you are valuable and you are going to get through this.

Life is a series of hills. You make it to the top of one and assume it’s all downhill from there and then you realize there’s another hill right in front of you. This is not because you SUCK this is not because you did something wrong and this is not because you are unlucky. That’s just the way life is. And if you climb enough hills, you will start to realize just how incredibly rewarding and BEAUTIFUL life is. Hang in there. You have EVERYTHING it takes to create the most incredible life right inside of you. You were born with it, but life has a way of covering these things up. It’s up to you to uncover it. Good luck.
